Practice Notes

Mysore #48

Noticeably tired from the lack of rest. Lots of lactic acid in legs and shoulders especially, felt very heavy, breathing was fast and shallow. Wanted to break down and cry at garbha pindasana, unable to do my rock and rolls nicely. A poor practice.

Mysore #49

Even more tired today, my face felt like they were carrying the burden of the weight of my facial muscles. Slow controlled breathing was maintained throughout the entire practice. Breathed easy and transitions felt light and smooth, although I didn't feel like I had a lot of strength. Did 10 dropbacks today. Good practice overall but I'm kinda feeling the effects of exhaustion, dizziness, etc. and I can't wait for a day of rest. Drinking water and eating food never felt so therapeutic and healing. I was chugging and sipping copious amounts of liquids after that like nobody's business and it felt surreal; it felt like drugs.
